HANDS ACROSS THE LOWCOUNTRY

When Beaufort celebrated its 300th birthday in 2011, I participated by creating a work of art that would be an integral part of this event. After receiving a grant from the Beaufort Three Century Commission, I embarked on a photographic essay "Hands Across Beaufort". photographing the hands of fellow Beaufortonians doing what they love to do, or do for a living. The end result was an exhibit of 40 framed and 70 matted prints.

A hardcover book with 100 images is available for purchase for $29.95  through this website or at Beaufort Art Association (913 Bay St, Downtown Beaufort) or Mrs. B and Company at 1215 Paris Avenue in Port Royal, South Carolina.
